Taking action is the quickest way to learn.

You might not want to hear that. Especially if you like hiding away in books pretending to put in the work. Or if you like to waste time brainstorming ideas instead of executing. But taking action is the quickest way to learn.

If you write something every day, each day, for a year, you will learn more in that year than any university course will teach you. If you write every day for a year you will probably learn more about human beings than any psychologist could teach you. If you write once a day for a year you’ll learn more about yourself than you ever thought possible.

How do I know? Well in the last 1.5 years I’ve written 376 articles.

It all started with a simple idea

1.5 years ago I said to myself I’m going to write 200 articles in a year. I remember what it felt like when I’d just hit 13. I thought about the magnitude of the task at hand. Those ‘articles’ back were barely even readable let alone would I be comfortable calling them articles but they were my attempt with my little knowledge.
