Hey Sergei, thanks for the message and it sounds like you're doing a good job to me! My one and only language is English so I can't say I've come across the problem you face however I can tell you what works for me. Usually ideas come from thinking deeply and then not at all, I'll be in the car and the idea or general theme for an article will come to me. Then when writing I do exactly what you describe, I put my thoughts freely on the paper, I write like nobody would ever read the words and then go through to tidy up my thoughts later. I would say write freely and tidy. Put your stuff out to the world and get thoughts and feedback on that. And use your Russian to your advantage, use it as a way to educate your audience about your native language. Something like: in Russian we'd say "xyz". Best of luck on your writing journey!
