Don’t Obsess

Maybe let’s take a step back

I know, I know.

Things haven’t been going well. You’ve been getting on your own nerves. You make promises, you don’t keep them, you get frustrated, you repeat. Over and over. It’s been like this for months.

You decide you need a reset.

A fresh start.

You need to lock yourself in, commit to the thing, get serious — you know? And so, after having one too many cups of coffee, you decide, you even write down, exactly how these next few months are going to go.

No messing about.

You’re going to get serious, like really.

You’re going to lock in. For the next 4 months, you are going to be ultra-focused and completely dedicated to this thing. You are. You tell yourself you are. Things are getting real. You are going to obsess.

You are going to think about it day and night.

Read about it. Write about it. Dream about it. Be it. This is it, this is the conversation you need to have to kick-start the life you actually deserve.

The next day, you wake up late, after a good night’s sleep you’ve barely thought about the thing since you had your coffee-fuelled outburst of commitment yesterday.
