Don’t disappear
I know it feels tempting.
To throw it all away, to delete it all, to disappear.
Get yourself on a bad day in a negative headspace and you’ll convince yourself that every element of your life is a complete and utter disaster. You just need to burn the thing down and start again, it’s the only way — so you tell yourself.
We’ve all been here. We all do this — In some form or another.
You look at one aspect of your life and start to pull it apart. Then like a spot you can’t stop picking, you go onto the next and the next. It’s like this weird thing you feel bad about but you can’t stop doing. So you don’t stop. And before you know it you’ve convinced yourself you’ve done your whole life wrong, your job, your relationships, your family, your health, your entire life — a disaster.
So if that’s where you’re at, read this.
There’s something you must know
Your life probably isn’t a total disaster.
I know it might feel like it but I promise you, it’s not that bad. You probably don’t need to reinvent yourself. You likely don’t need to move to Bali or disappear for 12 months (whatever that means).
